Interserve Engineering Services – CIS Tower

Any city centre project is going to be a challenge due to its location. The biggest logistical problem is getting materials to the site, and waste away from it. All while dealing with any health and safety concerns.

This was a live environment. As well as navigating the city centre, we had to work around the day-to-day operations in the building. During the project, many of the 25 floors remained live, which meant that some of the work needed to be completed out of hours. We handled this with care and dedication, coordinating with the end user to provide seamless delivery each day. As the building is over 50 years old, the risk of finding asbestos was high. Thankfully, all of our employees have undertaken UKATA asbestos awareness training, which gets reviews annually. Everything we did was compliant and followed the strictest guidelines.

Building Projects Group completed the project ahead of schedule, with Interserve Engineering Services and the client being particularly impressed with the level of professionalism and attention to detail. We handled anything related to asbestos with care, and the client was incredibly happy with how we approached the situation. The finished project exceeded their expectations and provided a modern space fit for purpose.
