The challenge
Bouygues’ Hoddesdon facility is one of the largest plants in the UK to convert commercial and industrial waste into energy. Expanding their operation required internal fit-out and bespoke fire stopping solutions, to be completed in a tight time frame.
The solution
Prior to this project, Building Projects Group already had a long-standing relationship with Bouygues. It meant we had an understanding of how to work well together; something that was necessary considering it was a year-long project. With communication throughout, we provided the internal construction works on this new facility. The scope was expansive, with bespoke work throughout.
The benefits
Bouygues was incredibly impressed with the high quality of work, which was completed ahead of schedule. The state-of-the-art facility now provides the workforce with the best environment to provide renewable electricity. There is no doubt the client will be making an important contribution to energy security at a national level and waste management at a local level.
