The challenge
Building Projects Group needed to work around the live operations of the facility while leaving Hologic with the same level of production. As much of the machinery is operational 24/7, any downtime would need to be planned with production. Airtight temporary screens and monitoring protocols were necessary from the start to the end of the project.
The solution
We were able to work to these specifications and completed work without interfering with day-to-day operations. The airtight temporary screens allowed the whole facility to maintain their high levels of productivity with no hygienic compromises. As for the new cleanroom, it met the client's exacting standards, with full mechanical and electrical work and ISO7-standard construction.
The benefits
The new cleanroom was handed over to a delighted client on time. Their new high-end facility was completed to the highest standard, and it now serves as a benchmark for all other cleanrooms across the business. The new facility allows Hologic to expand its business and gives them the space to flourish in the future.
