The challenge

Scotland Online, a regional IT solutions provider, needed a multi-skilled contractor to fit out their new £1.7 million centre. It needed extreme attention to detail as it was a high-specification project. The centre was designed to allow Scotland Online to expand its high availability hosting services and offer new and existing clients reliable data security protection. But working with such delicate systems required extra care and a suite of works to complement this kind of building. It would need a particularly specialist touch.

The solution

Working through extreme winter conditions, our team was nothing but dedicated to deliver this project on time. Utilising our skill set working in similar situations, we stripped out the existing offices and replaced them with Scotland Online’s new systems. This required extensive work to the flooring and ceilings, along with the installation of safety features such as anti-static flooring and Armco barriers.

The benefits

The client was extremely impressed with the final product as it met all of their requirements. Throughout, we did what we could to save them on costs, with our hands-on approach helping to iron out any issues before they came to be. Their new, state-of-the-art facility was up and running ahead of schedule and under budget.
