The challenge
Burnage Academy for Boys approached Building Projects Group with a potential extension to their existing academy. The only sticking point: that it had to be completed during term time. The school had to remain completely operational throughout. Given our expertise in this area, we were a natural fit for the academy.
Building Projects were appointed to complete an extension to the existing academy. Communication and coordination were vital as the school operated as normal throughout the duration of the works.
The solution
Before we began, we had to agree that communication and coordination would be of utmost importance throughout. Working in a live environment, both parties had to be on the same page at all times. Since this is a strength of ours, it was easy enough to make Burnage Academy feel at ease. We oversaw all aspects of project management, and ensured the new extension was a seamless fit with the already existing academy.
The benefits
Building Projects Group managed to hand over the project on time, much to the delight of the client. Operating during term time was no issue, and the client was pleased with how effortlessly we fit in. The new extension will allow the academy to deliver an even greater education to the boys of Burnage, and we were happy to exceed their expectations.
