Building Projects Employee Nominated For National Apprentice of the Year
A member of the Building Projects team has been nominated for National Apprentice of the Year award. George Pullar, who has just completed his NVQ (Level 2) in Business Administration with Building Projects (UK) Ltd, was put forward for the award by his tutor from the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce (DNCC), who also nominated Building Projects (UK) Ltd for Small/ Medium Enterprise of the year.
Now in their tenth year, The National Apprenticeship Awards are a celebration of apprentices and employers involved in Apprenticeships across England.
George said “It’s a fantastic achievement to have been nominated for an award such as this, since I joined Building Projects I have learned how to operate within a dynamic working environment and the other staff have always aided my professional development by sharing their knowledge with me. Both my tutors at DNCC and senior staff members at Building Projects Group have allowed me to gain invaluable experience and I am confident that I will continue to learn and develop at Building Projects as I look to advance towards NVQ Level 3”
Building Projects is committed to the professional development of its staff, and partnering with the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce on their apprenticeship programme has proven that apprenticeship schemes are a fantastic way to nurture talented individuals.
Adam Bell, Managing Director of Building Projects (UK) added: “Since joining our team George has become an indispensable addition, we constantly look to employ the brightest people possible, and its great that Georges skills have been noticed on a national scale, I’m certain he has a bright future ahead of him.”
Submissions for the awards are due on the 26th April 2013, and the nominees are currently awaiting feedback to discover whether they have been successful in making the shortlist.
